We run a small, relaxed campsite during the summer. Designated camping pitches are dotted throughout our hay field, with far reaching views overlooking the beautiful Hartridge Common. Each pitch is clearly numbered and has its own fire pit, the pitches are well spaced out. The site is simple with basic facilities; there are compost toilets and free hot showers.
Please keep fires to designated pits. We have firewood and kindling for sale or you can bring your own. We recommend bringing a small axe for splitting wood. These fields are grazed the rest of the year so we ask that you don’t burn anything with nails in it or that’s been treated or painted and that you make sure to abide by a leave no trace ethos.
We have a small shop where you can stock up on local produce, for anything else you can walk, cycle or drive to the Dunkerswell village shop 3 miles away. There are two great local pubs both a 10 minute drive away and plenty of nice places to eat out in Honiton should you want to.
With plenty of footpaths and cycle routes easily accessible and the Jurassic coast just a 25 minute drive from the farm you will have plenty of options to enjoy during your stay here.

Site Etiquette
RUBBISH AND RECYCLING
You can leave your sorted, clean recycling here with us but please take all landfill rubbish with you and remember to leave no trace.
COMPOST TOILET AND SHOWER
We have compost toilets for your use and will provide toilet paper, if you’ve never used a compost loo before you can find an explanation of how they work inside. There is a shower unit with hot showers available for your use.
DOGS
We welcome well behaved dogs, but please be aware that they must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. Not everyone likes dogs and we have all sorts of livestock on the farm. We expect you to clear up any dog poo and take it away with you, please do not pick it up in a plastic bag and hang it in a tree.
NOISE
We want to create a peaceful and quiet campsite, but we also realise that groups of friends will be coming and camping together, and might want to stay up late chatting by the fire. Please be respectful of your neighbouring campers and try not to disturb the peace and quiet in the evenings and at night, this is a family campsite. No amplified music please, that includes all speakers even tiny little ones.
PRIVATE AREAS
Please be aware that this is a working farm that is home to a couple of families, all areas outside of the camping area are private and off limits to campers and their children. If you need to get hold of us, please call us and we’ll come find you as soon as we can.
FIELD HIRE
Our fields are also available to hire for small one off events. Please get in touch to discuss this further with us.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If a cancellation is made less than 2 weeks before your stay then no refund is given.
